This is a very good book. My dad is very much a history buff when it comes to the Civil War and all related matters and people. After reading this book, I can see why. This is the first book I have read from this author and I have enjoyed her writing. I have a few chapters to go and look forward to reading about other people profiled in this book. It's worth a read, or listen to as I have done while driving.
